"ko-he-de
yan-ne" is tyipical greeting in Sri Lanka, which is
equivalent
to
"where are you going?" in English, however when used in
greeting,
this
means like "Hellow how are you?"
They
useally greet each other by saying "ko-ho-mo-da , ko-he-de
yan-ne?"
ko-ho-mo-da?"
is equivalent to "How are you? in English.
When
you see nice Sinhalese girl in Sri Lanka, you should say
"ko-ho-mo-da?
ko-he-de yan-ne?"
Sri
Lankan Language continues.
